Visa Issues

The Brazilian authorities have a reciprocity policy with respect to Entry Visa for citizens of different countries, and Brazil has agreement for visa exception with several countries, whose citizens do not need a visa to enter and stay in Brazil up to 60 or 90 days.

To verify updated information on visa requirements, download the Visa Info (a PDF table) with all visa requirements (source: Brazilian Foreign Ministry). To those who need a Visa to enter in Brazil, the simplest option is to get a Tourist Visa at the Brazilian Consulate nearest to your residence. The time required to get the visa is usually fast, about 10 working days, but we recommend to do it well in advance.
